Nacido en Winnipeg (Canadá) en 1974, completa sus estudios de Bellas Artes en su ciudad natal. En su producción, los seres humanos cohabitan con los animales y multitud de personajes híbridos y extraños en complejas composiciones que reflexionan sobre acciones y emociones humanas como la violencia, el erotismo, lo grotesco o lo absurdo. Pese a ser conocido mundialmente por sus composiciones en papel, en los últimos años su obra ha evolucionado hacia otros soportes como la pintura, el cine o el diorama. Vive y trabaja en Nueva York.
