Aesthetics of Failure es una investigación fotográfica en busca de las huellas de desaciertos que la humanidad deja tras de sí en pos del progreso y el desarrollo. Edificios y estructuras, planeadas originalmente para funciones obsoletas, se convierten en manifestaciones de las intenciones perdidas de los constructores y monumentos a sus fracasos. Adrian Rheinländer confronta la predominante concepción negativa del fracaso, revelando nuevas perspectivas y estéticas ocultas sobre esta inseparable parte de la condición humana.
Adrian Rheinländer ha sido finalista del Fonds Régnier pour la Création 2019 (París, Francia).
