Halmstad (Sweden), 1979. He began to take his first photographs at age ten and studied photography at the Photography School of Gothenburg. At twenty he started working under the pseudonym PMAN, when he produced his first project PALS in which he documented his relationship with his friends. In the series Somebody or Nobody? he plays with the imperfect symmetry of the face, joining identical halves of a face, which becomes strange and bereft of beauty when it achieves perfect symmetry. www.iamjesper.com
