Artwork: The Wall (from Inside Insects series), 2020.

In the series Inside Insect, Fuembuena focuses on the figure of Luis Buñuel through three different strategies: the use of archival images (requested to friends of Buñuel, such as Carlos Saura or his son, Juan Luis Buñuel), a series of objects owned by the filmmaker and images that were indeed made by the artist. The latter occupy a space in between desire, obsession and fiction; seeking an emotional dialogue between the viewer and Buñuel's oeuvre.
